  • Dislikes of the park?

Ok, we've discussed what we love about DLand. How about list what our most disliked attractions, restaurants, and general areas are. What makes you just cringe and run away? (And let's not make this a bashing thread about TL either! )
Marge: Barnacle Bill's Home Pregnancy Test? Homer, shouldn't we have gone with a better-known brand?
Homer: But Marge, this one came with a corn-cob pipe!
Marge: [reading from the test box] "Ahoy, Maties! If the water turns blue, a baby for you! If purple ye see, no baby thar be!"
Homer: So, which is it? Blue or purple?
    Marge: Pink.
    Homer: D'oh!
Marge: "If ye test should fail, to a doctor set sail!"

Storybookland. I managed to avoid it for a dozen years, then decided to give it another try..... Mistake.

Tea Cups make me dizzy, so I don't do them any more.

Crowds in the summertime, especially this upcoming Summer....makes me shudder just to think about it. Going anyway, of course!
Mom, remember, it's not what a person is like on the outside that counts,
it's what they are like in their HEART!

                      Festival of Fools arena.

What in the H*** does fifteenth-century France have to do with nineteenth-century Western America?

All I can see is something that sits right on top of where a really cool desert used to be.
"Say, uh, ever hear of the devil's paint pots? Real mystery of the desert. Bubblin' pots of mud in all kinds of colors."

I dislike the fact that there hasn't been an E-Ticket in Disneyland since Indy. 10 years ago!
                        That's just sad.

I really dislike where the Splash FPs are now. Traffic patterns are bad enough in that area.

I dislike all the levels that were added to NOS for the same reason. And parades... If you're in the wrong part of the park at the wrong time, it's a nightmare.

Finally, I dislike letting ride areas sit unused. I first remember America Sings just sitting empty forever. Now of course we have Subs and the Motorboat Cruise, and the old PM tracks, and the Fantasyland Skyway station... Bad show. You never close an attraction until its replacement gets the greenlight. And, as I've said elsewhere, you don't replace an attraction unless the replacement will be better. Replacing Rocket Jets with a hunk of junk? Inexcusable. Progress is good, but to regress...
See, George Lucas? I'm not the only one! [<-- i.e. this is not my site]

I hate the gigantic lemonade booths.
I want to blow them up.
i caught you a delicious bass.
