  • [Question] Birthday Question

Hi, my brother is planning on visiting Southern California and for his birthday we were planning on taking him to Disneyland. The thing is, it falls on the 12th which is a Thursday. What does that mean? It means early closing, and no Fantasmic. (Maybe smaller crowds though than if it were Friday)

My grandmother also did the birthday thing this year but for some reason they gave her two days, one at California Adventure, and one at Disneyland. I am not sure how that happened as the Disneyland website only states a one-day/one-park as being part of the Birthday deal. It could be because we went later in the day and they decided to compensate for the lack of time.

Anyway, my question is, would it be at all possible to use the birthday ticket the next day instead of the Thursday? Or as in my grandmother's case, be given one day at each park? Is it dependent on what time of day you arrive at the parks?

    Re: Birthday Question

    From Disney's Website:

Q: I can't come on my birthday. Can I get free admission to a Theme Park on another day?
A: Unfortunately, no. The free admission to a Theme Park on your birthday offer is only valid for free admission on your birthday in 2009.

And, only entry into Disneyland OR DCA not both; though you can upgrade to a parkhopper for a fee. ($25 or something like that)

      Re: Birthday Question

If your grandmother visited in the spring and she is a So Cal resident, she probably got the 2Fer, which was automatically exchanged for the B-day ticket during the time the 2Fer was for sale.
