I see that a lot of people on this forum have a Cast Member Reference Guide. is there anyway to get one? Do you just have to be a cast member? Sorry if I'm not allowed to ask this, but I'm just wondering.
(I got my Mine Train and Jungle Cruise ones on eBay....)

The CM Reference guide is a weekly publication that is just for CM's. It has information on resort hours, events, showtimes, refurbs, and anything that a guest might need to know. Think of it as a Cast Member Reference Guide!
Took mom to Disneyland for the first time in over 20 years this week! Woo!

I seen some guests have it for some strange reason. And I do believe that they are not a CM. I was confused how they get their hands on it.
Maybe they were just off duty CMs. Trust me, they're everywhere. Maybe they even stole one or found one that was left behind. Either way they should not have one at all. It had confidential information. I still haven't gotten mine for this week!
I found one in our work shuttle from Union Station, I think Disney used to use our shuttle. A Cast Member must have left it in there, it was from a few months ago.

I don't think so. She was asking other guests on advice. In other case, even off duty CMs can't have a Reference Guide when they are playing in the park.
The CMRG are available at all team centers (Company D..off site Team Center) and in certain areas backstage. they are guides to help CM's with guests. There are also found on line on the Disney CM Hub..

Well, realistically, these things are just going to get out, and there's not much that can be done to stop it. In the big scheme of things, this is pretty small-potatoes. Checking Ebay, you can get actual costuming pieces, full SOPs LOADED with confidential info...you name it.
