Hey, here is a video of a fountain show in Dubai at one of their hotels.

It looks like it's a hint at what "World of Color" has in store for us. Of course Disney's will be longer, with characters, and better effects, but I'm excited if this little show is what just part of DCA's new water show will look like!

yeah, I remember that video was posted in the DCA tracker a while ago. It looks amazing! WoC will have brighter, colorful fountains.. and when you add in everything else (fire, lasers, fog, huge projection screens, new fountains, lighting, etc) it should be an incredible show.

I saw pictures of this a few days ago. My first comment to the friend that showed it to me was "They are building something like this at Disneyland"

Maybe I'm missing something, but I fail to understand the connection between this and DCA's WoC.

If WoC is even close to this, I'm going to consider it a major upset and a huge under achievement.

I think they are being compared because they are both water shows done on a very big scale. WoC will be very different because it will employ a myriad of effects and will also use a fountain grid. If you're not familiar with WoC, you should see the WoC presentation videos from D23 expo.

I think it will. But WoC will obviously have the mist screens.

IMO, this looks more like the next step up from Bellagio's water show. REALLY cool, but WoC is going to be a whole other animal IMO.

agreed. The Dubai fountains = beautiful water show.. WoC = a mega nighttime water/laser/fire spectacular.

Yeah .. I agree .. a whole different animal.

But on a technical level ... it will most likely share some of the same technological elements .. and being a large scale.

I think if we were linking to the Disneyland Hotel's old Dancing Waters Show that ran for a few decades starting in 1970 ... and thought that was it for WoC .. then I could see an upset.

I'm just so thrilled a concept I have loved all my life is making strides in entertainment today.

You go to the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas ... and the coming WoC show ..... It's great dancing waters shows are not only coming back .. but on a much larger scale to blow everyone's minds out of the water - pun intended.

Anyone remember the Dancing Waters show in Sea World San Diego? For 1970s standards ... I was amazed as an impressionable teenager.

And it's nice to see The Grove in LA .. and the Americana at Brand in Glendale ... both with dancing waters shows.

I remember both Dancing Waters show at Disneyland Hotel and
Sea World ,and also think they was very cool shows
in thos day, so I do think Disney WoW would be great and something to see!

That's a pretty catchy song I must say, but the show is fantastic. While World of Color won't be on the same scale as the Dubai Fountain, Disney will give it their touch and hopefully live up to its expectations. I'm expecting this to be the crown jewel of the DCA re-do. I think that I'll like this even more than RSR, but I guess we'll have to wait to experience both of them to find out. It's very exciting stuff though.
