That's right! We got to perform in Tiana's Showboat Jubilee. And it was AWESOME. Seriously so much fun.
(Also there was a Flag ceremony deal that day where they honored the veterans. Guessing it's an all-week thing for Veteran's Day which is today)
(Also, we're wearing our faux-Ellie Badges (the "Grape Crush" ones) in celebration for the UP DVD release)
The park opened at 10, and we had hoped to get there when it opened... but we were delayed and didn't get there till 10:30.
As soon as we got into the park we headed straight for New Orleans Square.
Right as I was saying "I dunno, the park has been open for 45 min, I don't know if there will be any spots left"
We saw one of the ladies walking around with tickets held high. "THERE!" I yelled, pointing at her.
We ran towards her screaming "We want to be in the show!!!!"
And after all that "Sure, no problem"
I guess it's a lot easier than we thought it'd be.
Anyway, less talkie more photos:
Us with the performer who gave us our ticket:

The ticket!

We were in the second show, so we decided to watch it once to get an idea of what to expect. And I've gotta say the show is one of my favorites Disney has put on in a while. Everything from the parade to the Showboat Jubilee were absolutely outstanding.
I took more videos than photos, but here are a few photos:

As soon as the guests came out wearing those big shiny golden robes, I laughed.
Then I stopped laughing because I realized that was going to be us in an hour. Haha. We were so excited.

Ta-Da

Show time!
The full group ofvictims performers:

Act I: Colored Hankies

Act 2: Giant Music Notes

Finale: Shiny Golden Robes and Tambourines

After the show was over everyone that was in the show got a private meet and greet with Tiana, Naveen, and Louis while the Mark Twain finished sailing around the Rivers of America.
Tiana and Naveen were Awesome. Not only did they have the speaking voices down, but their singing voices were incredible... AND they both looked and acted a lot like their characters. They were great.

Louis!

Our complimentary Tiana's Showboat Jubilee Mardi Gras Beads:

The group of "talent scouts" after the show. They were all really nice.

This picture is from later, but it fits better here.
We managed to grab a picture with Dr. Facilier at one of the later shows as he was making his way from backstage to the boat.
And so glad we waited around to get a picture with him because his costume is awesome. Check out his fingers!
(When I went to look at the photo I realized I was making a weird face. But at that point Facilier had already snuck onto the boat. Sooo I was stuck with this photo haha)

Tiana's Showboat Jubilee over.
Afterward we decided to check out the actual Princess and the Frog meet and greet. We sort of liked the look of this Tiana a little better, but the other Tiana still outperformed this one by far.
And we overall like the Naveen from the show better as well.

Veteran's Day Flag Ceremony:

Veterans who were there were asked to come forward:

Random other various photos:
Most of these drawing attention to the Christmas decorations that were in select areas of the park as the holiday transformation takes shape.
Also these are all taken with my ultra-compact camera, so the quality isn't great. One day I'll bring my nice camera with me

Would love to get this photo without people in it. But that's impossible unless it's way early in the morning.

The Christmas Tree is up already! (Thought they didn't do that till the opening day of the Holidays)

Castle miniature in the World of Disney store decorated to match Sleeping Beauty's Castle in the park (missing snow though).

If anyone is interested I have a bunch of videos of the show before ours, but I'm sure it's all the same sort of stuff you've already seen online.
Anyway, not as cool as seeing John Lasseter in the show, but I wanted to share what it was like to be in the show from our perspective.
Let me know what you think
