  • [Idea] DCA: New Show for CarsLand

    Hey guys,

When Carsland open in 2012, I hope they also add in a new show to the new land.

I think they should add a stunt show that is similar to Disney's Hollywood studios "Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt Show." Why? because this show represent "Carsland."

So what do you guys think? Should they have this show at DCA?

Here a video that I recorded this past summer in HD:

Eh... No. It wouldn't fit in Cars Land. Unless they completely changed it up and made it star Lightning McQueen and Mater.
But the realistic (well... they're real cars) show wouldn't work in the cartoony Radiator Springs that is Carsland.

Hollywoodland (as it will be called) on the other hand... would be pretty cool. Don't think there's room for it, though.

I'm not the biggest LMA fan, but I think that sounds like an excellent idea. I wouldn't want a direct clone, but a Cars-themed LMA with a new storyline. The only problem would be space.. not sure if there's a large enough area for a show that big.

        No please, yuch!
The Mickey audience is not made up of people; it has no racial, national, political, religious or social differences or affiliations; the Mickey audience is made up of parts of people, of that deathless, precious, ageless, absolutely primitive remnant of something in every world-wracked human being which makes us play with children’s toys and laugh without self-consciousness at silly things, and sing in bathtubs, and dream and believe that our babies are uniquely beautiful. You know…the Mickey in us.

It would need to be altered. Maybe tractor tipping with explosives or something but I would like to see it!

I'm all for more attractions and shows at DCA, but don't think there is any room for this one.

Ugh. What an incredibly un-Disney show!

That show is much better suited for USH. And even they have better shows than that!

Ya. It doesn't look like it but it is roughly 600 feet by 700 feet (Including show buildings and storage). So I would rule it out.

Well interesting idea. While I haven't heard any plans to bring LMA to DCA what is interesting is a future expansion of DHS is suppose to get carsland when they take out the backlot ride. Additionally the LMA show is suppose to be altered to a Cars 2 theme. The background of LMA can be reused because cars 2 has a European story line. I think the major problem with bringing in this show would be 1 space and 2 price. It is an expensive show to mantain in DHS and I think a local crowd in LA who might not want to see this show over and over might not make this show worth while in DCA. Interesting Idea though.
