[Question] Disneyland Christmas Castle

I know there has been much controversy over the castle overlay..


However.. one thing that has always stuck out was the back of the castle not being decorated and the icicles/lights just ending abruptly.

So this year have they expanded around the entire castle?? Anyone know?! Any photos of this years back of the castle?!

Yeah, I've noticed that myself... it's a bit strange that they don't decorate the back. I have to assume they're skimping out a bit, but I have no clue.

It doesn't need to be decorated in full I suppose. I'm sure they spent more time and detail with the other decorations. Castle still looks beautiful though.

it should be wrapped around in my opinion. That looks cheap and neglected.

I think I'm unaware of this "controversy." Can anyone explain the controversy to me? Also, it looks like there is less icicles on the castle than in the past, maybe I'm mistaken. I did see the castle during the day last Wednesday though and it looked pretty nice

Everyone agrees that at night it is wonderful. But the lack of decorations on the back and the fact it abruptly just ends is cheap and tacky. And many believe the icicles are just butt ugly during the day and could do without if it weren't for the wonderful look at night.

but it's like a christmas tree
are all the ornaments always equally around the tree?

well our tree is always skimped out on the window side

It wrapped all the way around last year, I believe - as it should.
