So, I went to Disneyland and got to see the holiday decorations for the 2009 season, and i have to say...I love it
. I did a whole trip report here: Ryan-Philipp Valle : Blog Blog Archive Trip & Photo Report: Disneyland
But some details I missed to state in the original report:
Crowds: Much larger than anticipated. I arrived at 11am and got nice parking at Mickey and Friends, but apparently, early comers were detoured to the garden walk, deceiving me of the true crowd levels in the park. Inside, we saw a healthy size crowd, with waits ranging from 45 minutes for indy, 20 for pirates, 45 for haunted, and 50 for space.
Fireworks: Seemed to be the EXACT same show from last years, not making any use of the new effects we saw during magical and halloween screams.
It's a Small World: Noticed a few different things in the decorations and the disney characters stayed in place
Pizza Port: The BBQ Pizza is gone (it was my favorite) and was replaced with a holiday pizza, which didn't taste as good.
Carts: they had carts which sold hot cocoa in mugs
Carolers: Gone from the park and moved to the hotels. I was upset about this
Anyways, enjoy the report and photos I posted above, or if you don't want to scroll, here's the link again: Ryan-Philipp Valle : Blog Blog Archive Trip & Photo Report: Disneyland
Enjoy!
