  • Bring Pal Mickey to DLR?

    Here is an idea....

bring the Pal Mickey to DLR. Whats that you ask? Here is a link and some info about Pal Mickey.

    http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/wdw...=PalMickeyPage

Developed by Walt Disney Imagineering using advances in wireless communication, Pal Mickey is another Walt Disney World innovation to improve and enhance guest service with leading-edge technology.

"See the names written on those second-story windows?" Pal Mickey might say as guests stroll along Main Street, U.S.A. "Those folks helped Walt Disney build this Magic Kingdom!" In fact, the windows bear the names of key Disney cast members instrumental in the development of Walt Disney World Resort.

"Say, 'Fantasmic!' will be starting in about an hour," Pal Mickey might remind Disney-MGM Studios guests about the park's popular nighttime spectacular. "If ya wanna see it, now's a good time to go grab a seat!"

What are your ideas about this for DLR? Personally, I think its a awsome idea and it could help the crowd in places and help them get to things faster, and move them into attractions, thus releaving some of the traffic in areas in the parks.

    What do you all think?
"Disneyland is a work of love. We didn't go into Disneyland just with the idea of making money." ~ Walt Disney

That sounds great! I wonder why DL does not have it.
My nephew would love it, what a way to make him feel really special with the inside information.

I remember reading about that some time ago. I think it's really awesome. I can't see much use for it the park isn't that expansive that you couldn't find your way around but the idea of Pal giving facts about different things would be awesome. I'd definetely get it at WDW whenever I go.

Pal Mickey was probably the coolest thing we got from our first time to Florida... He was a ton of fun and very helpful for our first time visit... Now they have a 50th anniversary edition where he is dressed up in a tuxedo... Even though he doesnt work at Disneyland, we brought him on our last trip with us for some pictures...

<---- Check out my avatar picture of him at Club 33....

He is a great idea and I can't believe that they havent brought him to Disneyland yet.

Pal Mickey was a really cool at AK!! He provided a lot of info about the animals we were viewing!

Plus when we got bored in a line we would play a game with him.

It was mentioned almost a year ago that Pal Mickey would be at Disneyland in time for the 50th. I wonder what happened. And why does he get a tuxedo for Disneyland's 50th when we don'e even have him here. Florida gets too much stuff that should be here.

I have heard that they are changing the heads out to make them Pal Mike-y. The official Eisner Pal. As you roam the park, he makes over 900 interactive excuses.

Re: Bring Pal Mickey to DLR?

DL probably doesn't get enough tourists to do this, so there's not as much demand for it.
