    [Question] Going to Disneyland December 13th to 17th!

    Anything I should watch out for?

    Is it usually crowded during this time of week?

    What are the temperatures in California like in December etc.

    P.S. Mr. Gaston's Trip Report will also be posted when he gets home after the 17th!

    Expect some photos and funny commentary!

      December 12-18 for us

      ....that is taking place at the anaheim convention is? I have pretty strong internet skills, but I can't seem to find anything about it.

      I am hoping it is not a cheerleader conference or something like that

        so it looks like a lot of us are thinking about going.
        We usually do this week
        but it didn't work out.
        My fav time at the "resort" is Christmas
        and it's a time that I don't want to miss.
        Crowds or no crowds, the park is still a wonderful place to be during the holidays.

          For us it just happened to work out to be that week. We are getting married while we are down there

          The HoJo still has empty rooms, so it may not be all that bad. When we went last May, the Hojo was booked up MONTHS in advance, but it really wasn't crazy busy when we were there.

          I still have my fingers crossed it won't be *too* bad

            I should add, we have never been at Christmas, so we are pretty excited. Favorite place, absolute favorite time of year....and we are getting married; i don't think it gets much better

                We are going the 12th to the 18th too! I booked back in January though, I hate to wait to the last minute.

                  It's been a little chilly. Dropping into the low 40s tonight and mid 30s by next week. Also been a few storms. Thought it was going to snow the other day. OH... you mean Southern California, not Northern, huh? Probably close to 70 and sunny.

                    It will most likely be very crowded at Disneyland that time of year. Historically, the closer to Christmas, the busier it gets, esp. on the weekends.

                    Average daytime temps in Anaheim are around 60-70 degrees, getting down into the 40's at night. December is also the start of our monsoon season, and I keep hearing that we are going into an El Nino year, so there could be lots of rain this winter.

                    Of course, coming from Oregon, you're use to wet.

                      Oh god tell me about it, if it doesn't rain, the wind just blows hard against the windows, it's so loud you can practically hear it lol.

                        I can dig the cold, in fact 65 degrees is ideal temperature to me, but I hate the rain!!

                          I went that time last year. We were at Disneyland the Tues - Thurs (15-17th) I think. I can't really count that Tues because it was the worst rainstrom in two years and was told only 6,000 people were there that day. Wed was a little busy but Thurs was a MADHOUSE!
