Actor John Voight Visited Disneyland 11/25
He was such a nice guy and was taking pictures with guests. Felt bad that he couldn't enjoy his time at the resort without a mob of people asking for his photograph.

At first I was like Jon Voight.... whose that guy again? Then as soon as I looked at the picture I was like ohh yeah, Angelina Jolies estranged dad (ohh wait, I heard they made up, so dad) but I like this guys acting, he's quite a talented actor, I mean who doesn't remember his many role in such films as Disneys National Treasure movies or the mega box office movie Transformers, even his role on 24 was good.
But wow, this is something you usually don't see. Usually the stars, weather it be big or small, are with my ever (not) so favorite people the infamous Disneyland Handlers, and those guys are plain rude. They won't let you get a picture or anything with them, even though the person won't mind at all, but then again they are only just doing there jobs so I guess I could be a little easier on them.
I've actually met one of his Transformers costars Tyrese Gibson before (click the link to see the picture. and it wasn't at Disneyland, it was at my place of employment at the time Raging Waters) and he spoke pretty highly of Jon Voight. But thanks for sharing with everyone Seawolf, that was pretty nice of him to take time out of his day at Disneyland to take a picture with you and your family.
Follow me on Twitter for live updates & pictures from the park:
I've known quite a few celebs who felt they were important and all but demanded an escort. I also knew a lot of celebs who just wanted to enjoy the park and didn't want an escort. There are a couple that come to mind who would try to be in the park as long as possible without being "caught". That was the beauty of Jungle, you never knew who would be in line or in the exit. I also knew a few celebs who would ask permission to say hello to the fans, letting the escort standby in the background as they walked around a land (usually Adventureland or NOS, sometimes Fantasyland).
The one thing that always impressed me was when the celeb was down to earth. You read and hear of so many stories of celebs behaving badly... and yet there are countless moments when they are down to earth people. Countless moments when they sit back, relax, and for a short time they're just a person having a good time. It's nice to see that John is part of that crowd.

My little brother and his friends wanted a photo with him so I took the picture but didn't take anymore of his time by getting another with myself, even though I really wanted to.

To be honest, I'm suprised you're little bro noticed him. As an older actor, and not one that is totally in the "Hollywood Scene", and not a very well known actor with my younger generation, I gotta give him props for noticing him. I know if I was there with some of my friends, I'd probably notice him, and my friends would have no clue, as they all worry about Will Ferrel, Shia Lebouf, and the Twilight characters..

Don't you see that if everyone of the 60k people in the park took only a moment of his time that it adds up.
When I see "famous" people at Disney, I leave them alone. They, after all, are just like you and want to enjoy their day like you are.

The first movies that came to mind when he saw Jon was National Treasure and Holes. He did remember his other films when I had mentioned them though. We always encourage my brother to see the classics and movies that really represent hollywood as a whole and that's why he usually dislikes trendy things like Twilight and those actors you mentioned.

Nope, he didn't have one.
GOOD! I read the Twilight books, and saw the first film (for the only reason to see what everyone was talking about), and for the most part, I hate Will Ferrel (IMO, he was hilarious in Anchorman, Talladega Nights, and ELF), and
Shia is surprisingly getting better at acting. I'm glad he watches some of the classics. People need to see better movies than Twilight, and The Hangover. Some pop culture stuff is good (Ferris Bueller, Back to The Future, etc), but the current pop culture sucks. What's "popular" right now is gangsta rap, sex comedies, and trying to revive 80's fashion styles (neon shirts, fan sunglasses). Ok, I'm off my soapbox...
