Can we stop all the AP passes and crowd related threads? I'm sick of coming (granted I am new to MC) and reading the same things over and over again. How about we just focus on other Disneyland related topics?

First, welcome to MC.
Second, you just started an AP and crowd related thread.
Several topics get hashed, rehashed, burned, buried, dug up, re-animated, over hashed and then debated yet again. These happen to be two of them. You'll see LOTS of them in your time on MC.
Best thing to do is just ignore the threads you aren't interested in, or start a thread that you are interested in. Create a discussion on another topic and hopefully it will draw people from those threads to your new one.

If you stick around long enough, you'll be hard-pressed to find any new topics...you'd best get used to the repetition.
Hahahaha...no, but seriously, sometimes you just have to avoid threads that you know are going to cover territory you don't want to read about. Sometimes those topics will slip into other discussions unannounced, but it's usually not too hard to tell which threads are going to go in directions you're tired of. I know it's not the most fun advice to hear, but the adage "If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen" comes to mind. :blush: Because let me tell you...it's very difficult to change large groups of people, even if you're 100% right and they're 100% wrong.
EDIT: I've also just inadvertently shown another technique you can use - I personally am tired of threads started by newcomers that exist purely to tell other posters to stop doing such-and-such, but instead of letting it get to me, I decide to contribute in the best way I know and then just let it go. If that's too difficult...see above.

I'll take "Don't click on threads you don't want to read" for $500, Alex. Yep, some of the songs play over and over again here, but you can click on other threads. And, sure, those songs pop up in even unrelated threads, but it's just what's on people's minds.Comment

Best thing I can suggest is to check out other forums on the site. The Disneyland section rarely has anything interesting anymore. I spend most of my Micechat time over in sections like the Collectibles lounge these days.Comment

Sorry OP, we get your point, but like everyone said, a broken record is not new, especially on the internet, just nature of the beast. And no offense, there are a ton of threads about a particular topic because people WANT to talk about it. So as long as people are interested, it will keep being bought up. And just like people have the freedom in talking about what they want, YOU have the freedom to skip those threads that annoy you. Problem solved, everyone wins!
And yeah, the one thing I notice that its ALWAYS the negative threads that get the most attention for some reason, ANYWHERE on the internet. We just love to complain and be combative about every thing, thats just human nature at its finest.

Most threads state what they are going to be about or at least give a general idea of the topic in the title. If you don't want to read about a specific topic, don't click into the thread.
If we stopped and took a poll of what people want us to stop talking about - we'd literally have nothing to talk about since everyone has something they aren't interested in reading about over and over again.
