  • [Fun] Your Most "Intimate" Moments/Memories at Disneyland

Okay, this was an Idea I came up with while talking in the "Splash Mountain Logs" thread.

What is the most intimate experience you've had at Disneyland.

For me, it was the awesomeness of the Matterhorn vehicles. I went my junior year of high school to Disneyland and met up with an old crush, we both sat in the front but because of the way the vehicle was designed, she had no choice but to sit on my lap.

    Lol, I had no complaints.

What are some of your most "intimate" moments or awkwardly intimate moments you've had at Disneyland?

I've posted this before, but none tops my sitting in the ranch house out at Big Thunder Ranch before they locked the old piano, and softly serenading my sweetheart with songs I had written for her. That was back in the late 80's, and we are still together and married over 20 years later.

ok well it's not intimate, more romantic, and it didn't all happen in disneyland, but it does play a big part.

so for my junior year choir trip we went to disneyland. i thought it was just gonna be me and my friends, and maybe a couple more friends, but no, my ex-boyfriend and all his friends were hanging out with us as well. there ended up being 17 of us. it was still fun though.

so by the end of the night, i ended up having 3 guys like me. one was a complete immature ugly no way would i date him (sorry if that sounded mean but it's a little true) another guy i would consider (we both like to play golf and poker) and the third was my ex.

we had to go back to the charter bus and we went through the side of the castle path which had the wishing well. i made a wish with a quarter wishing to find love again. my ex made a wish as well also with a quarter wishing he could have me back (cause i broke up with him).

short story: two weeks later we got back together and have been together for 1 1/2 years!

long story: a week later we both confessed that we still had feelings for each other, but he also liked another girl while another girl still liked him while the two other guys still liked me. i told him i would choose him, but he was still unsure about his feelings. a week after that he finally chosed me and now we've been together for 1 1/2 years!

I had been dating this guy for about six months and I hadn't told him that my thinking was thus, the one who took me a Disney park and had fun...that was going to be a keeper.

He surprised me with a road trip to Disneyland with a weekend stay at the Sheraton. He had made all the reservations and details without my help.

And we've been together over 11 years now.

          peace,

It was September 25th 2009 the first weekend for the Halloween season at disneyland. I planned a trip for my GF of 5 years for her birthday weekend to DL we arrived from phoenix around 8 PM we went straight to a spot to watch the Halloween screams fireworks show, we found a spot waited a while hour and twenty five minutes. When the lights started to dim and the music came on, I dropped to the old one knee and well she said yes, just then boom the fireworks began and the rest is history. And that was the best fireworks show ever. The next day we went to the micechat Knotts Scary farm meet and then it turned out to be A perfect weekend.

I wish I had a great story here.
I'm sure there are lots of stories where young couples would avoid the Matterhorn because of not being sure of the situation.
Or , if they do decide to ride, nervous laughter in line. Should I ask her to share a seat?
Fantastic anticipation, not unlike the moments just before midnight on New Years eve.
                Great stuff.
I still enjoy riding together each and every time with my wife, but we were already an item before we ever rode together.

and in my defense I was celebrating my birthday and had consumed several adult beverages at the hotel, UVA bar, and the margarita cart so I really didn't have much control over my actions (and I know it won't help my case )

Last yr I invited some of my friends to Disneyland and I got "stuck" sitting with the guy I really like. Haha. It was pretty funny(:

Also, I remember skipping down Disneyland with my bff who happens to be a guy who I use to really like. Haha. Yeah.

I don't really have anything else considering I'm reallly young and have never even taken a bf to Disneyland...

I'm cheating....Septemeber 2009 was our honeymoon to Disneyland ^_^ What made it even more special is that so much had changed since the last time either of us were at Disneyland (I had gone only once before Septemeber of 1999 and he hadn't been there since 1987!) There was a lot of new stuff to experience and we got to experience it together for the first time as a married couple. ^_^

That and making out in the back of the boat on PotC...hehehehehe!
My mind often turns back to
                                        Fraggle Rock...
I'm marching on with a smile
