So I was thinking about another ride that could have a halloween concept during Halloweentime.
Space Mountain joined in with Ghost Galaxy which, IMO is a big step for Disneyland to compete in the Halloween Market.
Now, I was thinking of Big Thunder Mountain. A haunted mine, a posessed mine train, perfect for a halloween makeover!
I would call it:
BIG THUNDER: Haunted Caverns
By day, it's the same ride, but at night, the mountain transforms into something scary!
The idea would be that the curse that plagued the mountain got stronger and brought back miners from the dead. It also darken the caverns so the 1st and 3rd lifts are in complete darkness. In the third lift, there would be a projection of a ghost that warns the riders of the curse and to return to Rainbow Ridge before it's too late. Unfortunatley for the riders, the town is now overidden with the ghost miners as they try to grab them as they return to the station. For the goat scene, the goat could be removed and in it's place, a light on the spot with smoke rising from it. Indicating that the goat exploded. For the first action area (between the first and second lifts, ghost miners could be projected in place of real actors to simulate that they just awakened.
What do you think? Could this be on par with Knotts Scary Farm? Would this work.
