Have you guys ever been on PoTC, Small World, and other rides and witnessed a guest or group of guests getting out of the boat? I ask because a friend of mine got caught on PoTC last year.

Re: Unruly Guests.
I remember back in the 90's, some kids were standing up in Pirates and touching the barrel that is above you in the final scene. My Mom yelled "SIT DOWN!" And they got scared and said you're moving with your auntie and uncle in Bel-Air. (Sorry, I couldn't resist as I typed that.)
No but seriously they did sit down and they were mortified that someone they don't even know would yell at them haha

^ Alex, you win at life.
My dad always told me this one story that when he was a teenager, he was drinking at the park with his friends and he jumped out of the boat on IASW and started dancing with the dolls. He's done some pretty far out stuff before, so I wouldn't put it past him :/

Re: Unruly Guests.
On POTC some young teens/adults were riding on the boat in front of us...one of the guys jumped over the seat and was also standing up during the ride. After the second or third time we heard a loud voice on the intercom say "sit down, do not stand up again".
When the ride was finally over we noticed a Security officer was waiting for him at the exit. I overheard the security officer tell him something about taking his AP away from him... if he con't to not follow the safety guidelines...

Re: Unruly Guests.
I remember many years ago on Splash our log rammed into another log of guests that were all trying to stop their log. A few seconds after we hit them the work lights all turned on and the music abruptly stopped. A CM on the intercom gave a general but stern warning not to stop the boats. The guests in that log all put their hands inside at that point and when we got back to the loading doc I saw a manager escorting the party in front of us through a backstage door with a security guard in tow. One of the leads approached us at the exit and asked if we were ok and if we were having any pain. Fortunately we had bumped them in one of the show areas where the flume speed is not as high as other parts and everyone was ok.

Re: Unruly Guests.
I've never seen any guest get out of the boats myself but I found a video of some of those despicable acts on here:
BE WARNED I WOULD NOT WATCH THE WHOLE THING BECAUSE IT MIGHT NOT BE SUITABLE FOR ALL VIEWERS!!!!
The small world stuff starts at 0:27 in the video. There is also supposed be a part two of this video too!
Apparently they still don't have cameras to stop this kind of stuff either

Re: Unruly Guests.
I was on IASMH a couple of weeks ago right as the park was about to end to close and had a problem with a group of teens I was sharing a boat with. They were rocking the boat, cussing, and overall being horrible guests. When we got to the part of the show where boats were being rerouted backstage for the night they grabbed on to an empty boat exiting underneath a black curtain causing the empty boat, our boat, and the full boat behind us to stop. A CM came out from the other side of the curtain and said loudly "Please keep your hands, arms, feet, and legs in the ride vehicle at all times." scaring the bejesus out of them. They sat still with all body parts in the boat for the rest of the voyage. It was a great way to end a day at Disneyland.

Re: Unruly Guests.
That video made me sad. I think it's a bummer that some people can't just enjoy the attractions as intended, and instead feel the need to goof off to "add" to their experience. I get frustrated and vocal when people do flash photography in Pirates, God help someone that tries to hurt the attraction while I'm around...lol

Re: Unruly Guests.
I won't post it here, because it is somewhat inappropriate for this forum, but the "Stoners at Disneyland" video on youtube is absolutely hilarious. And unlike the other video, it's not just about doing things you aren't supposed to at Disneyland. There was actually some creative effort put forth in making it. You'll be doing yourself a GREAT disservice if you don't watch it through the end... trust me.
