[Question] Disney Ebay Cheap Tickets

I was just wondering if anybody knew anything about tickets on Ebay. There are several people offering cheap 2 day park hopper passes that you pick up in the morning and return at the end of the 2nd day. What are these tickets?? Does anyone know if these are real? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Does Darkbeer happen to know anything about Ebay listings for Disney tickets?

What i know about ebay tickets is that they are trying to make a profit. Or after you return the tickets, they going to go and take that and upgrade that into an annual pass. or sell it online again, so people can purchase it and upgrade to their annual passport for cheap.

For example,

They purchased the ticket for let say 100.00 buck online. They sell it to you to use for one day and you pay them 70 bucks. Then you return it to them at night.

Now, they going to go sell it again on ebay and probably make additional 70 bucks of them. Therefore, equal profit.

I don't know if this is a "taboo" thread...and certainly don't want to make any mods mad! I'm posting for a friend, and neither of us know anything about these tickets. We both work in law enforcement, and are a bit skeptical, so we were just wondering if they were legit. Thanks again!

Never ever go for one of these if your ticket is a pdf. Those are notorious for being invalid money sucks.

The reason why I said this tread going to "close" is because I have seen it closed by the mod of this website. Something about Disneyland is against transfer of tix.

If you think about it. If you want to get a free annual pass, you just basically go and purchase a 3 days park hopper without anyone signing the tix for it. You sell one day on ebay for 70 bucks. Sell the 2nd day for 70 bucks and than on the third day you just go in and upgrade to the pass.

And pay for the difference

Thanks for the information thus far. To clarify, I threw out Darkbeer's name because I thought he might know something about it. My friend and I are highly skeptical about this. For me personally, I just purchased Deluxe AP's through the Disney website. Got em' in 3 days!! So...again, we're just looking for information, not trying to make anybody mad here. What these people on Ebay are doing is not legal. PArk hoppers on non transferable last time i looked. Many people have been known to buy these tickets and then get in toruble when trying to use them when they get to the parks.

All tickets have printed on them:

Not for resale. Void if Altered. Revocable. Nonrefundable. Admit one. Nontransferable;must be used by the same person on any and all days. May not be sold, bartered, nor echanged for goods, services or benefits.

What these people do is not allowed. Don't let your friend risk it. Also, sometimes the tickets on ebay are complete counterfeits or all the days are already spent.

Legal? Probably not but should you feel bad about this? No.

Some people make cash by doing this on ebay and you could see their rating approval. So the risk is pretty much nonexistent if their rating is 98% out of 1000's of ratings.

Again, should you feel bad for buying a hopper for 55 bucks? I wouldn't.

Totally TRUE! When you are planning to buy tickets off Ebay make sure to buy from User with a lot of feedback especially 100 feedback plus! Also make sure they have been a member of Ebay for couple of years already. They wouldn't want to sell counterfeit tickets just to ruining their feedback. Besides, they would get caught because Paypal have all their credit card information etc.

But if you are planning to pay cash and in person, you are more likely of being scam. Therefore, is safe to pay via paypal.

Never buy from a member that barely joined ebay.

I buy Lakers tickets on Ebay all the time, by looking at their feedback reputation making sure it's 100 percent etc.
