  • [Fun] What music is "Disneyland" to you?

What music makes you think of Disneyland? able to imagine yourself standing there and warming you all up?

for me it's got to be the mad tea party music. I can just imagine myself passing between Alice and Wonderland and by the kinetic tea cups. It's such a lovely and energetic area!

Too Funny Casey Jr. That was exactly what makes me think of Disneyland, the Tea Party Music with the Matterhorn racing by and the Monorail honking. Love it!

oh that's an easy one for me...When you wish upon a Star that song always but always reminds me of my favorite place on this entire planet

        Fantasmic's, DEP's and RDCT's Soundtracks. Yah it's generic but it's true!

Re: What music is "Disneyland" to you?

I used to have several of the Disneyland Records attraction LPs, like the Story and Song from the Haunted Mansion (which I recently re-purchased on CD; hooray!), Pirates of the Caribbean, Enchanted Tiki Room, It's a Small World, Country Bear Jamboree, and America Sings. I absolutely love all of the music that originated at Disneyland in one form or another. We have the 50th Anniversary limited edition CD and listen to it virtually every day in the car - my kids love "In the Tiki, Tiki, Tiki, Tiki, Tiki Room" and the Splash Mountain ridethrough medley, plus the usual favorites (Yo Ho; GGGs).

So the answer to your question? A lot of music makes me think of Disneyland. And I'm grateful for it!!
Now don't close your eyes, and don't try to hide...

Next trip to Disneyland: December 3-6, 2011. I can't wait!!!

Funny thing is, when I googled it, I learned it's in "Wall E". I have the movie in my netflix queue but I've never seen it. But I do hear the "Hello, Dolly!" version on Main Street.

I used to watch that video multiple times a day when I was little.

oh wow thank you SO much for those. I grew up watching those and could never find the video! A part of me is now completed. I am forever thankful. XD

Those sing along videos were my childhood. haha

I'd have to say the main street music definitely transports me whenever I listen, and so does really anything by Randy Newman. Especially Monsters Inc, for some reason.
