News Rose Bowl- and BCS Championship Game- related activities at DL

This thread is to accumulate information about when Rose Bowl / BCS Championship participants and fans will be visitors to DL in official or organized capacities.

This stuff is probably easier to find in more Oregon-/Ohio-local publications, and others here might know and I invite them to post as well.

I posted this in another thread after finding it:
Ah: on 12/29 TOSU Marching Band will be at Disneyland. Says so right here:

Also: 12/30 is when another TOSU Alumni group will be there, and it says so here.

It's optional, and it's competing with an optional Universal trip.

Seems like a lot of travel companies are booking stuff. Anywho, if anyone has more info, please post.

I got nothing on Oregon so far.

I'm sure there are some transplants in the area who might want to know as well.
There is a rally at Santa Monica Pier for TOSU on 12/31 at about 2PM. Just something I found on the internet.

(Quick note: the "T" I put at the beginning is a dig at the name of the college in question: "The Ohio State University." And that every athlete who introduces himself at pro games (they don't do this too much anymore) always emphasizes the "Theee" when he announces his alma mater.)

I'm not a transplant but a TON of my close friends are Ohio State alum so, I'm kind of an honorary buckeye since i'm around them so much. I'd like to be able to pass along any cool news to them.

I lived in Columbus for 12 years. Never liked the Buckeyes when I was there, but after Woody left (about the same time I did), they seemed a lot more digestible.

I might accidentally see people here that I knew when I was there.
