Re: Where does the water from Splash Mountain go...
Splash Mountain has its own contained water system.
It doesn't connect to the River or the Dark Water system at all.
The little bit of splashed water from the final drop doesn't make an impact in the river, drained or full.
Re: Where does the water from Splash Mountain go...
There was an article in the E-Ticket Magazine a few years ago that showed how the waterways in the Park were mostly connected. Some are unique to themselves, though. It was pretty interesting. Now if I could just remember where they are.....

The dark water system includes Storybookland, the former Motorboat Cruise pond, the castle moat, Jungle Cruise, and RoA. When it reaches the end (not sure of the exact order), it is filtered and pumped back to the top. Splash Mountain, the Subs, and a few others have their own systems. Next time you go on Splash look for the low wall to your left after the drop.
hahaha, i seriously doubt that... most likely what they did with the Pier water...
No, I'm serious. You can check my Splash Mountain construction photos. They built what could be a tank under the main building. I believe Datameister knows the details of where the water is stored. Hopefully he can chime in on this soon.
Re: Where does the water from Splash Mountain go...
Alright, I did some fact checking; the tank doesn't hold 1 million gallons, that's WDW. The reservoir for DL holds 475,000 gallons. Smaller, but it's still there.
Re: Where does the water from Splash Mountain go...
It gets pumped back to the top and repeats the process.
FUN FACT: The water that splashes up is actually water that is put in tubes and is shot of with high pressure. If you watch, the splash is the same each time.
