Re: Tommrowland terrace 2010 refurb
Since the restaurant is closing, it appears to be a kitchen and ordering window refurb.
Take a look at this concept art:
In the lower right-hand section (got this off a map), there is a bluish structure where TLT should be. Maybe they are planning to build that?

Re: Tommrowland terrace 2010 refurb
Probably kitchen work.
I doubt it's a huge overhaul ...
Seems they would save "the big redo" when it comes time to overhaul the whole land.MY SIGNATURE:
Dear Peoplemover Fans, If you want to see a new attraction that at least mimics the 1967 Peoplemover in a future Tomorrowland remodel, you need to write to the powers-that-be, and let them know. If you don't - Then the next time Tomorrowland is remodeled, you will see a land barren of any "Peoplemover" type attraction.

Re: Tommrowland terrace 2010 refurb
I've been wondering this myself. Me and my family are going in February so I've been checking on here and at Disneyland.com looking ahead at their entertainment schedule to see what may be closed when we go (so far we've been fortunate that none of the big attractions have been named but the trip is still a ways away and there's plenty of time for refurbishment announcements to happen) so far on there (and they go up to January 26 right now) they list the Jedi Training Academy for numerous performances (six for that day) and it is marked as being at the Tomorrowland Terrace so I assume the remodeling is more so inside and it won't affect the show. I hope that trend continues, because I am a Star Wars Fan, I enjoy that show and I love seeing my little brothers enjoy it and get to see Darth Vader."It matters not how strait the gate how charged with Punishments the scroll I am the master of my fate I am the captain of my soul" -- W.E. I think it's just the kitchens, the ordering area, and the big roof that covers a lot of space, that needs remodeling.

Re: Tommrowland terrace 2010 refurb
Maybe the stage area will have to go behind walls at some point if the space is needed for the workers. But then again, the stage area saw its refurbishment after Buzz opened and "Club Buzz" returned to its glorious name of "Tomorrowland Terrace" and we got the great new sculpture. With how much Jedi is usually advertised, they're probably doing what they can to keep the show open during the refurb process, especially on busy weekends and holidays. The show is probably a bigger money maker when people can buy food and drinks for the show, especially when the Munch Inc boxes all have Star Wars graphics on them.
This blog has a few pics the blogger took during the TL98 refurb of the Terrace.

The ceiling of the Tomorrowland Terrace Looks Fantastic! I had heard a rumor that that's a little of what TL 2055 might have been like. And the blues and silver looks great with the newer retro white Tomorrowland Terrace stage.Critter Country's a mess ev'r since the Country Bears were kicked out. Re: Tommrowland terrace 2010 refurb
Since the stage and outlying seating were refurbished around 2006, they probably won't be involved and in that case the stage would stay open. The heart of the restaurant (Covered seating and food service) haven't been touched since 1998 and will most likely be walled off.
