  • [Pictures] Remodeled Rooms at Disneyland Hotel

Have there been any posts about the new rooms in the Disneyland Hotel Dreams Tower? I searched but couldn't find a thread. I'm on my 2nd day in one and could post some pictures, albeit mediocre iPhone pictures, if people are interested.

Ah, here ya go. Sorry about the quality

There's two switches on the lamp between the beds: one turns on the lamp, the other plays back a bad recording of a music box rendition of When you Wish Upon A Star and turns on the fiber-optics in the headboard. This whole thing is really underwhelming: there very little animation (a few stars fade in and out) and there's a loud hum that continues as long as the fiber optics are on (coming from the faux-music-box speaker as far as I can tell).

30 or 32 inch flatscreen TV. Actually gets several HD channels in the high 40s and low 50s.

    Permanently installed 3rd bed.

Bathroom, glove lamps are about the only thing that hasn't changed if I'm remembering the old rooms right.

Cool, I didn't know they were even open, thanks for the pics.

I'm guessing we're one of the first guests in this room. Everything is clean except for construction dust in a few places.

Very cool, thanks for posting these pictures!

I am glad that DLH is getting these refurbishments! Sorely needed. Not sure if I'm totally 100% a fan yet, but this is a step in the right direction. Glad the Mickey hand lamps are still in the bathroom! And in regards to the permanently installed 3rd bed, I just realized from your pics - there's no more bench, is there? The bench in the rooms used to act as a third sleeping space and a great dumping ground for all of your resort goodies. :ap:

Indeed. Available seating is down to 2 chairs - desk and reading.

Um, slightly blue? The blue tint really isn't that noticeable, especially once you've been in the room for a few minutes.

The lack of fresh air is far more annoying.

I like it, much nicer than most rooms in WDW. And nice added touch with the fireworks! Did anyone notice the firework pattern in the bedding?

Thanks so much for the pictures!

Looks really nice, I like the dark wood. Like MissC said, the upgrade was sorely needed. Although, being able to open the sliders will be sorely missed.

Wow I like it! It looks nice. I'm not too sure about not being able to crack a window open. One of the things I loved about the DLH was opening up the window and listening to the sounds of the resort.

I like the installed 3rd bed too. Its convenient & it gives you extra space to do activities! lol (Kudos to anyone who knows where that's from)

Confirmed. The lamp unit actually functions as a 120V switch for the fiber optics stuff. it's got a female outlet on the end of a cord that the fiber optics plug into. Unplug the headboard from that and plug into an outlet on the power strip back there and presto: stars/fireworks without the hum!

Agreed! I loved having the sliding doors open and listening to all the kids playing around in the pool area and looking over at the little bits of the park I could spot from my room. Haha I'll definitely be missing that
