There is no way they could convert the old "Muppet Family Christmas" special from the 80s to 3-D and do it for Christmas right? I'm just being silly right? I mean, that is just wishful crazy talk.

Re: Muppet Vision Christmas?
It's been a while since I've seen it, so I can't remember how many elements of the show could be made into 3-D. Also, this is totally nit-picky, but I think it was made in the mid 70s. They could release the bubbles when there was snow, I suppose.
Either way, I would totally go see it. I loved that show and have the soundtrack! Even if they cut 1 or 2 of the songs out for time, I think releasing it would be a good idea. It would at least be one more thing to do in DCA during the construction, and it would be holiday-themed!Oo-de-lally!

Re: Muppet Vision Christmas?
Yeah, probably too many issues to use that specific special. It was also edited when they released it on VHS/DVD because of music rights, so that could add another wrinkle.
However, the concept of a holiday version of 3D attractions is a solid one. If they can give us Haunted Mansion Holiday, Small World Holiday, and Ghost Galaxy, how about a Christmas movie or two?
Seems like an obvious kind of attraction to do a seasonal overlay for...My Micechat cruise trip report, Part 1:http://micechat.com/14795-disney-wonder/

Re: Muppet Vision Christmas?
Oops! I just figured out which Christmas special you're talking about, TheLoop! I was thinking of the wrong one (the one with John Denver in it). Sorry about that! The Muppet Family Christmas is a really good one, too!Oo-de-lally!
