That pre-vis is near the end of the ride, not the beginning. (It is at the beginning of the race).

Thanks for the clarificasion, Nautilus. It's easy to become disoriented as to which part of a ride one is looking at when they haven't been on the ride yet. Also, parts of this virtual mock up may be changed when RSR is built.

Thank you for specifying that this is the "short" version of the ride experience vid, actually it's the only version so far. I have found others on youtube in the past with the same demo but the uploaded had overlayed music over the thing and muted out the audio track for the actual attraction. Thanks for posting this one!

It confounds me why people feel compelled to tamper with official footage, and trade the soundtrack with their own. If it isn't broken, don't try to fix it!

With that rant out of my system WestsideCM, thanx so much for expressing your appreciation for my finding the original footage and soundtrack that Disney made of the coming headliner Cars Test-Trackish ride.

You viewed only a segment, stevo. The indoor and outdoor parts of the ride should each be significantly lengthy. In fact, it should be longer than both est track and Expedition: Everest.

Actually I believe it will be shorter than Test Track. I do believe that it has been said that it will be longer than Everest however. I would have to look for an official ride time though. I've heard varying reports on here between about 3 and 5 minutes. Test Track is 6 for reference and I think Everest is a little over 3, but I'm not positive.

Does anyone know what 3D modelling programs were used for creating this ride demo?
I'm working on a ride project myself and I've been trying to figure out what programs to use. I use a program in school called Pro/Engineering... but it's for creating CAD models and such for mechanical systems and stuff like parts... and I might use it to create the vehicle. But I still need a program to create the ride itself.
