Am I the only one disappointing to see that it looks like they used some of the EXACT same footage from the Hall of Presidents redo for the new show?

I'm not too sure they took stuff from that show. Of course I haven't been to WDW in a very long time so who knows. It looks like they've blended elements from the old Lincoln show, and the newer ones as well. Thank goodness they've gotten rid of those headphones!

Oh and one element they left out was the laser show at the end with the Jonas Brothers and Miley Cyrus AAs. Rockin' Great Moments With Mr. Lincoln!

Yea, the "Two Brothers" scene is a lift from this year's Hall of Presidents redo.

Which is also a lift from EPCOT's American Adventure.

I'm not necessarily disappointed that we're getting the Hall of Presidents ending. It just means that we get a blend of the HoP and the American Adventure, both of which we don't have here at Disneyland.

You forgot the final scene where Donald Duck comes running out with Steve Martin hot on his heels...

The "Two Brother" piece is really old (80's). FYI: One of the pictures in the sequence (not shown in the link) is the brothers at a train station which was shot at Disneyland's "Original" Frontierland station across the tracks from the current station.

The "Two Brothers" scene was part of the show at DL prior to the most recent show with the headphones. I think it played concurrently with the show at EPCOT. Although I think the show at EPCOT did come first.

He was being sarcastic "Two Brothers" has not been added to the Hall of Presidents. Why would it' It is already at American Adventure and has a corresponding scene.

I think it's such a great idea to include "Two Brothers, it's one of the most touching scenes of American Adventure. Curious, do they have the animatronic "Two Brothers Family" rise from the stage as they do in EPCOT, or it it just in video here?

I'm happy to see some of the retro come back in the show.
Also nice to see they returned the voice that Walt had picked.

I'll have to see the full show to make a final judgement.
The video did say that some of the footage was supplied by Disney.
So I wonder how much is in the show or if the commentator just needed piece of footage to fill his piece.
Hopefully those who get to see it tomorrow can give us a full report.

To that end I'd like the Internet community to join me in reminding the Disney company that "it all started with Walt." As you can see below we've created some T-shirts, plus a few simple graphics that you can copy and paste into your websites to let folks know how you feel.

Fantastic, but I keep wondering - why not just hire a live actor?

Words cannot express how excited I am to see the original dialogue return to Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln, and the original finale.

                            So happy right now!

I'm just going to say it and really hope I'm not criticized too harshly, but this just looks boring. I'm just not sure if this will bring in the numbers to see the show. I think the appeal of the Lincoln show for so many years was the use of its technology, but this basically just looks like some college history lecture.

I'll bite...lol Yes it's historical. And if it were a part of history that required a huge amount of background information to comprehend, or if you had to read the chapter first, I could understand this reaction, but it's a part of our history that is and SHOULD be considered vital to who we are as Americans. This isn't the history of the steam engine, or the history of the rotary telephone, it's the history of a moment when our country was torn apart and had to be brought back together again if we wanted to continue to be the UNITED States of America. Sometimes, attractions require US to find the chills within us.

This is one of those key things that is supposed to separate Disneyland from say, Magic Mountain. It's not all popcorn, some of it requires your thoughtful attention and imagination.

Of course, I could be wrong, maybe they should put in a fire show, or make Abe breakdance.
