Hey guys just got back from Disneyland but at the 9 PM showing of Fantasmic, Murphy was a static figure in that he did not move at all. Not only that but he would not budge and was left up for the whole show and I'm not talking like he kind of collapsed into the egg deflated form that I saw a while ago, I'm talking like full 45 foot goodness. They obviously left the water screens up the whole time and Murphy even got hit by some of the fireworks but they left the screens up after the show, during the fireworks, and a while afterwards too as Murphy slowly descended back into the pit but very slowly in his still 45 foot mode. I checked out the 10:30 show and Murphy was a no go that time. I guess old habits die hard but I'll post the video I took later but it's late so yeah...

Slightly but not really off-topic...
I know they named him Murphy because of Murphy's Law...
But does it bug anyone else that Maleficent turns into a male dragon? :P

Yes, the 10:30 show just had Malificent up there flailing about as she was all summer. They even added an 11:30 show tonight, but did not stick around to see if the dragon appeared, but most likely she did not.Comment

Well the dragons super advanced what do you expect. A perfect show every time? Accidents are bound to happen. I'm sure that they will get the dragon working much better by next summer.Comment

Well here's the video I took. You can definitely see its outline and even the detail on some parts of the video. So yeah. And I didn't mean to raise some sort of panic of that Murphy is broken. He will of course be fixed so yeah.Comment
