News New Caterpillar for Disney's Electrical Parade!

[Kritter]

MintCrocodile just posted a video of a new caterpillar for Disney's Electrical Parade. It now has a projected face to make it more "life-like" aswell as a different color. This debuted last night! Along with the new flapping wings on Elliot, the "alice in wonderland" butterfly that now flaps its wings, new cheshire cats, new lights on some of the performers, exploding fireworks on the finale float, a pixie dust trail on all the floats, the return of Snow white's and Pinocchio's float and a new Tinkerbell float and a new soundtrack. This is just one of the many cool things to see in this parade!

Except for the caterpillar and the wings on Eliot, I believe all those things were there since summer, but good to know. Hopefully this is a sign the show's not going anywhere (farther than Disneyland next door) when World of Color premieres.

Elliot's moving wings was an addition late in the summer, but you're correct on everything else.

Was there ever smoke coming from the hookah or is that my imagination? If so, then too bad, but I love this new face. He DOES look much more lifelike than how they had him; I hate those plastic light-up faces. It's too bad that many of the characters in Spectromagic AND The Electrical Parade have them.

Elliot's moving wings was an addition late in the summer, but you're correct on everything else.

I just added everything they added in the show this year... Some people possibly didn't get a chance to go this summer. So I just decided to add everything new in case people haven't noticed them or have not seen them yet.

LOVE that he's blue now. There was way too much green in this section of the parade.

You can take a picture of the worst float of Dreamlights and it will be at least 10x better than any float of the EP here. Sad, but true.

You know, at first I laughed becuase I thought we were exaggerating at how much better Dreamlights is, but seriously what float in Dreamlights is worst then one in the original? I actually cannot think of one.
