If it happens to rain, then the show has a very good chance of getting cancelled, but i don't know what would happen to your priority seating for fantasmic.

Im not too sure, but you can call the Ticketing & Reservations office at (714) 781-4400 beginning at 8:00 am daily, if u have any questions. I thought that u can get a refund, but i might be wrong

I have always wondered this with all priority seating, especially on those nights when Fantasmic! is cancelled due to wind alone (that happened on me before, it wasn't pretty).

If it is raining, still wait for the show. They will not cancel the show until right before it starts because they can dry off the stage if it is not raining.

Also, they will cancel the show midway if it starts to rain heavy. That happened to me about a week ago where Mickey was strutting his stuff in the begging the lights went off and the "Due to weather" announcement came on.

Please tell me about the Priority Seating. I have heard about it, but never looked into it. Where do you sit and is the view worth the price? Do you have to show up way in advance like in the regular seating? Thanks in advance for your answers!

The premium Fantasmic! viewing experience is available near the Tom Sawyer Island Raft Dock. The price for Fantasmic! Premium Viewing is $59.00 for Guests ages 10 and up and $49.00 for Guests ages 3-9, which includes a dessert sampler. Reservations are available up to one month in advance through our Ticketing & Reservations office at (714) 781-4400 and may be picked up on the day of your visit at the Guest Services window. Same day reservations are available on a first come first served basis at Guest services window located on the left side of the Main Entry Plaza adjacent to the Disneyland Newsstand (subject to availability). For showtimes you can visit www.disneyland.com or contact the Ticketing & Reservations office at (714) 781-4400 beginning at 8:00 am daily. Park admission is required. Please keep in mind all information is subject to change without prior notice.

The seating is the chairs behind the ropes.
Is it worth it? some would say no but we loved it.
you get a desert tray and you go earlier to reserve you seat, (I think it is around 7pm) they tell you when to show up to make your seat reservations.
Then enjoy the time untill it is time to get your seat.
you get to sit in a nice chair instead of sitting on the ground or standing.
you get a good view of the show (there are 2 areas to select from).
So you do not have to have some one sit for hours saving you a place.
We went to city hall in the morning to get our tickets when we went in the summer. We were shocked at first but did it anyway (there were 4 of us). We will problably do it again the whole experiance was worth it.
not having to wait forever, getting a desert tray and a drink. There is a CM in each area to bring you a tray and they are fun to talk to.

But what i am still looking for is what happens if the show gets cancled, those tickets are not cheap.

We paid to view Fantasmic once from the Disney Gallery balcony when it was still open. They had a dessert buffet setup and you were WAY above everyone else when watching the show. There is no way that I would pay the going rate now after we saw the show like that. Its a darn shame that they don't still offer that instead of the setup that they have now. Its just not the same.

Are you going on the 27th?? Thats when I am also going for the priority seating too!! I hadn't thought of that!!!

I would hope they would refund us.... Also I hear that if you really want great seats to get there around 6:45 p.m. instead of the normal 7:00 p.m.

I saw this show for the very first time last night and it went off without a hitch, including Murphy who didn't look glitchey one bit and even breathed fire.

we did Priority seating during Thanksgiving week and were told that if it was cancelled (like the fireworks were all the beginning of the week), they would try to accomodate us during the week or return our money if it never went on.

We've done the gallery seating before and this was our first time in this location and I really like both. I always feel so bad losing hours saving seats and trying to keep the kids busy so this was a nice alternative. My only complaint is that the dessert box is awkward to hold and so big we couldn't finish so we took them to the hotel and had to carry all of it around all night (there were 6 people). We did end up nibbling off it all week.

I'll be there on the Dec 27th- Jan 1st, but I'm doing Fantasmic on the 28th. The weather report is getting better. I called and they said if it rains they will refund our money, so that was good news. I'm very excited! Will you be there for New years eve? It will be crazy crowded. Have a great time!!!!
