[Fun] Pixar Zoetrope in Disney Animation Bldg

I sometimes wander into the Disney Animation building since it's connected to the Off the Page store and I think the projection screens with the music are really cool and amazing to look at (if I could have a room like that in my house I would be so happy). I've seen the Character Close Up room once or twice and thought it was the most boring room ever since nothing in there seemed that great and the Toy Story display in the middle was weird since it was just a whole bunch of figurines put in a circle. Then today I was in the building again and saw that the display was actually spinning! I go up for a closer look and discover it's actually a zoetrope. I'd never actually seen one before, and for my first one to be a Pixar one, it was totally amazing. Apparently they made it inspired by the one Studio Ghibli did for My Neighbor Totoro.

So question, if you could pick another movie for them to make a zoetrope of, what would it be? Since it's a 3-D zoetrope, I think a Pixar movie would be best and I would love to see them do one for Finding Nemo or Ratatouille or The Incredibles.

Isn't that Zoetrope the coolest?

As far as other Pixer movies that would make good ones I'd say BugsLife would be the best.

You gotta think of one that would have the most amount of possibilities for characters and actions for them to be performing.
I think Monsters Inc would be a great one, as would Bugs Life.
Another good one would be WALL-E. There could be a ton of different actions with that.

I was thinking Ratatouille, but decided against it....I vote for Nemo, or (as much as I don't like it) A Bug's Life.

What I like about Bug's Life is there are so many recognizable characters. What like about the Toy Story zoetrope is you see Buzz, Woody and Jessie but you also get Weezy, The Green Army men and a lot of other things you see in the movie.

It was so well done and I think Bug's life could be just as amazing if not better.

I think that if they are to replace it for some reason, it should be Bugs Life.

Wall-E, they could have a bunch of robots on stuff chasing eachother around. I love Wall-E so I have some prefrence toward a Wall-E Zoetrope. haha

I guess I didn't think of a Bug's Life since it's not one of my favorite Pixar movies, but I can see how it would make an awesome zoetrope. I was also thinking maybe doing a Mickey and Friends one would be fun to watch. Maybe if they did vintage mickey transforming into the modern Mickey along with his other friends while doing a scene from an old cartoon to a newer one would be fascinating.

That is a really cool concept. Kind of like the fab 5 starting out as their vintage selves then transforming into the present as they perform certain actions or signature walks.

That would be really cool, and it would fit perfectly with the animation building!

And it would help bring a little more mickey into the parks... and there can never be too much mickey .
