Well after looking online, I was confused at the back stage parade route. My question is, after a parade goes from Small World to Main Street, is their a way to get the floats back to the parade corridor (behind Small World) via back stage roads?

There is a road backstage that gets you over to Small World but not efficient for parade floats. I've seen them move them back to Small world area after the park closes by just driving them down main street.

Re: Backstage Parade Route
yeah i was gonna say the parade goes:
small world ---------> main street
then
main street ---------> small world
it'd be a pain in the tushie to bring back the floats to the small world area while people are thereOriginally posted by JungleCruiseFanYou know what they say- The party don't start 'til Jordon walks in.Originally posted by penguinsoda

Re: Backstage Parade Route
Yep, there's an access road that runs all along the east edge of the park. It passes between Tomorrowland and the buildings that hold the railroad dioramas (etc.), then crosses to the outside of the railroad tracks behind Innoventions. Then it follows the curve of the berm back toward IASW.
EDIT: Oh, yeah, you're talking about the floats. I didn't know that they pushed them back through the route in reverse, but that makes perfect sense.

Re: Backstage Parade Route
I know that on days that there is just one parade, they simply run the floats back up Main Street after closing, but...
If there is a case that they need to take them backstage, can they? They'd have to go under the DLRR train bridge east of Space Mountain and then under the Monorail, then back under the Monorail near IASW. Is there enough clearance? I'm especially skeptical that there is enough at the IASW end.
EDIT: Looking at bird's eye view on Bing Maps, there looks to be quite a bit more clearance for the Monorail track near IASW than I realized.

They go back to the parade building after park close, or they run the parade from Main Street to Small World once, with the floats parked backstage during the day.
