I've heard it said that you can still see Melvin, Buff, and Max inside current-day Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. Is this so? The last couple times I've ridden I've looked for them but have been unable to spot them. As I think the ride is somewhat creepy, I'd prefer not to get on it again anytime soon if they're not in there.

They are after you exit the Nightmare room (or whatever they call it)
You have to be in the right spot (in front I think) and look quickly.Quote by Al:
To that end I'd like the Internet community to join me in reminding the Disney company that "it all started with Walt." As you can see below we've created some T-shirts, plus a few simple graphics that you can copy and paste into your websites to let folks know how you feel.

Re: Winnie the Pooh question
You can really be in any spot, even the back, but the back is harder because you can only see them when you look straight up as you're passing under them. Here's a picture:

Now, is that their original location or were they originally somewhere else in the building?

Re: Winnie the Pooh question
Alright, so I convinced my boyfriend that we should go on Pooh once more to look for these guys (neither or us really enjoy the ride), and we got to go in the front row. To my surprise, they were there! The heads are a lot larger than I expected. I don't know, but it seems that maybe the Imagineers that created this experience may not have liked the idea of changing out the Country Bear Jamboree/Playhouse for Pooh and stuck them in there on purpose. Heck, perhaps Pressler and Harris never knew they were even there. But yes, cool to see them nonetheless. Now I have no reason to go on this ride for a very long time.

Re: Winnie the Pooh question
I remember seeing the Country Bear show at DL and at WDW. It is corny but fun. I can't believe that I rode on the Pooh ride this past summer and had NO IDEA these old friends were hiding out above my head! I guess I just need to go back now! LOL!WDW: 1981, 1986, 2008, 2012
