  • belive in holiday magic question!

The snow at the end of the show, was that fake? Or did they somehow make real snow?

It seems so magical on the videos I've seen, I can just imagine what it's like in real life!

The snow was (unfortunately) fake. It's sort of a "foam" or "bubble" substance. It's so that it wouldn't get the ground wet so that guests won't slip and fall.

It has a very real look, and is a nice touch. (Just don't let it hit your tongue! Yuck! :yuck

It seems that we will be keeping Remember... this year, and Disney will be adding a christmas ending with snow.

It's too bad that it's fake. It would be cool to have some snow blowers to dish out snow. But then the ground would be all wet and slippery. But it's pretty slippery with all the bubble stuff on the ground.

However, the effect it really cool!!

After reading the original question, I recalled an old article on mouseplanet that discussed how the bubbles were made. I found it really interesting at the time, so I found the link to share.

Warning, this may be more interesting to science geeks.

I'm actually going to miss the Holiday Fireworks show.

I wish they could have just done "Believe" and then done the Holiday show after.

Christmas just isn't the same without the Christmas fireworks and fake foam snow. It's such a magical feel. For me, that and the Newport Boat Parade are Christmas musts...
