  • [Question] Good deals for those of us outside So Cal?

It seems like the best deals are for those who live in Southern California.

Are there any good deals for those of us who live outside the magical range of discount zip codes?

We had APs last year but are not sure how many times we will make it this year. It depends on what my bonuses and tax return look like.

Thanks in advance for your advice.

Maybe if they gave better deals for those not in SoCal the resort wouldn't have to rely on locals as much.

Me too. I'm in the same boat when it comes to renewing. If I could get the payment plan then the answer would be yes, yes, yes!!!!

6 day park hopper for $173 is $28 per day. That sounds like a pretty good deal. They are selling adults for kids prices right now. expires on April 29th. Disneyland Theme Park Tickets | Disneyland Resort

well that does sound like a good deal, but then there's the hotel, the food expenses, all that will add up pretty quickly.

so really it may be $28 a day, but it's over $1000 at the disneyland hotel, that's where they make up the money

I guess if you count what we pay in rent gas & utilities by living here you are getting a bargain.

That 6 day park hopper is a great deal because there are no block out day like the APs. Finding someone to stay with is the key.

Well yes thats true, but the posting was about Disney giving better deals to people outside the Socal zip codes. (compared to the deals they give to locals) I've heard there are places to stay as low at $50 per night close to the parks. It sounds like your cost issues are more logistical unfortunately.

It would be nice if we can have something past that date.

For example, isn't there a 4-day parkhopper that So Cal people can get that you have to use by late June?

I would love that one because we could go for 2 days in February and 2 in June.

I am not as concerned about the cost of the hotel since we use Priceline and usually can get a good hotel for ~$50 a night.

It is more the tickets and what is the best deal for "the rest of us".

It is Costco that has the good 4-day deal but it sounds like you have to have prrof of So Cal residency.
