  • Silver Platform In The Middle Of Lagoon

I have been wondering what this is for a while and I keep forgetting to ask, what exactly is that platform for? I haven't heard anything about it and if it doesn't provide anything then why is it still there.

If you are talking about the one that was in the lagoon at DCA, that was for Luminaria. That show with fireworks was for Christmas and only lasted one year in 2001 at DCA. I thought it was a pretty good show, but there was a lot of smoke. Anyway, that "platform" out there was for a large Christmas tree which rose up out of it towards the end of the show. After sitting out there unused for a few years, they finally took the thing out of the lagoon earlier this year.

If you were talking about something else, sorry I went through all that for ya!

Are you referring to the Submarine Lagoon or another lagoon?

I should have said which lagoon I meant but yeah it is the one at DCA. I haven't been there in a long time and i didn't know if it was taken out or not. Isn't Remember using a new firework system that eliminates smoke and if so couldn't Disney have brought this show back because it sounds like a really good show. It also could get more people into DCA
