  • News Scooter rentals?

I called 3 different companies and got some wildly different prices on renting a scooter for the week we will be at Disneyland, Mar 3 - 10.
    I called:
Alan's Wheelchairs and Medical Products and was quoted $35/day or $125/week Plus $25 delivery & $10 tax which comes to a total of $160.00/week
B&R Medical Equipment, Inc and was quoted $225/week regular price, but since I got their number from a link off Mousesavers , they will give me a "special price" of $195/ week which includes delivery.
And lastly, Scootaround, which quoted me $226/week.
So far, it looks like I'm going with Alan's.
Does anyone have any experience with any of the companies?
Any suggestions for other ones, maybe better prices somewhere?

    Re: Scooter rentals?

don't go with Alan's. I did a year or so ago and although they are the cheaper, their scooters do not come as promised. They also promise 24/7 support but only through email, which they check the next day. The scooter I got did not have a basket, like I was promised. It also did not last through the day. I had to have my mother-in-law push me from New Orleans square to the ECV rental area at Disneyland because It needed a re charge. when I finally got in touch with someone from Alan's, they weren't to helpful.

Since then I go with scootaround or rent at the park. It's more expensive but worth it. They are great at customer service and their scooters are well kept up.

Good luck and PM me if you need any other ECV at DL advice!
