  • [Question] Space Mountain Queue Cover

Does anyone know the reasoning behind having all but one 20ft section of the outdoor queue for Space Mountain covered?

    I mean ... really?

You obviously haven't been in line for Space Mountain during the summer.

No, I have not, but rain or shine. shouldn't the entire queue be covered?
Just seems weird to have one gap. Explain please.

My best guess is because it would cover the Space Mountain dome. That's a pretty big reason because you can barley see it anyway.

          Sight-lines.

Covering the queue right there would obstruct the view of Space Mountain.

I've actually seen umbrellas up in the sumer time during the day in that area and then at night they take them down.

The line is extremely long during Summer break, and during Christmas.
