  • Wearing Masks @ MHT...

Generally, Disney will not allow guests to wear masks during an event like Mickey's Halloween Treat. However, I'm hearing reports that masks are being permitted during MHT and was wondering if anyone could give me some feedback on this?

I want to dress up because I have a cool (life-like) old lady's mask I want to wear with my costume. Do you think I'd be allowed to wear it for this event?

Any feedback would be appreciated, thanks!

Most guests did not have a problem wearing masks, but you cannot wear them while on a ride. I believe I read this from MousePad. Your Treat ticket came with a little flyer which included these rules:

-Costumes should be child-friendly and not obstructive, offensive or violent
-Guests may wear masks, but the masks may not obstruct vision and guests eyes must be visible at all times
-Guests that look like Disney Characters may not pose for pictures or sign autographs for other Guests
-Costumes should not drag on the ground
-Costumes should not contain sharp or pointed objects or material that may accidentally strike another Guest
-Costumes should not contain any weapons which remsemble or could easily be mistaken for an actual weapon
-Guests that do not adhere to these guidelines may be refused entry into the event unless their costume can be modified to meet the above standards.

    Hope this helps

Thank you so much for replying, I appreciate it. The mask I have does not restrict my eyes and you can see them just fine. So I'm going to chance it.

      Thanks again! :ap:
