You can retake. My grandma just renewed hers in the middle of February and she retook hers because hers was from like 8 years ago.

They will let you retake it once a year.

that reminds me: when I activate my ap (got it for christmas and havent gone down yet to actvate it) I probably should get a new picture rather than use the one they have on file (a little more grey hair than when the last picture was taken)

Last I heard, it was $5.00 for a "Vanity Re-Take."

I retook my pic in my second year of being an AP. You can do it at the AP Center.

When I renewed my pass last month at the AP center they asked me if I wanted a new picture or use the one on file.

Re: New pic for annual pass?

We renewed on New Years Eve. I sort of wanted to retake to get a better picture, so I asked the lady at the guests services outside the turnstyles as we were renewing (where it took no more than five minutes to wait in line AND renew). She said "You sure can if you don't mind waiting 30-45 minutes in line at the Annual Pass Processing Center." I didn't think a new picture was really worth that.
