  • [Question] Stuff you want to do in DLR but never do...

For me, I've always wanted to sit in those rocking chairs or bench on the faux porch (near Market House) on Main St. and watch a parade. But there is ALWAYS someone already there! It's silly I know, but is there anything you all have always tried to do but couldn't??
    Well Gawrsh!

I'd like to sit with the guy on the porch in Pirates and listen to the soft banjo music while the boats drift by.

I've always wanted to watch the fireworks from in front of Sleeping Beauty's Castle but have usually been too busy going through my ride to-do list or too intimidated by the crushing crowd to try. Two weeks from now though I'll finally do this.

I've always wanted to get my picture in front of the partners statue, but yet to have done so. I will try and remember to do that on the next trip!

Re: Stuff you want to do in DLR but never do...

            There's a couple things:
            - Ride Space Mountain with the lights on
            - run through the park when no one else is there
            - Swim the rivers of america
...and all of this is stuff I'll probably never get to do, but oh well, one can dream.

            In reality:
            - front row for the fireworks
            - eat at the Blue Bayou
            - Tiki Room. I don't know why, but I hardly ever see the show.
            - Be Grand Marshall in a parade.

Me too! Though I'd imagine it would be a tad creepy sitting with him.

Better yet, after a long winter day in the park, I wouldn't mind cozying up inside his cabin. It looks so warm and comfy!

I also would love to go through all the locked doors inside the Castle and see what's in there. That and venture around Star Tours trying to find some sort of backstage visual evidence of Adventure Thru Inner Space.

I've always wanted to climb the Matterhorn. I'd probably get about half-way up and then freak out and need to be rescued.

I already got to ride Star tours with a cabin all to myself.

i think I would want to ride the train with the engineer. That was always my second choice.

                          And meet these characters:
Pocahontas, Kronk, Robin Hood, Dopey, Mermaid Ariel, Human Ariel, Stitch, Esmerelda, Buzz Lightyear, Mary Poppins in her black outfit, and chimney sweep Bert.
                          MEOW.

I always wanted to explore all the backdoors and backstages of the park and see everything! It may ruin someones magic but to me it would make it more magical!
