  • [Question] How Do I Get To Disneyland? (Trip Help Needed)

Me and my girlfriend want to go to Disneyland for her birthday, and we have two free tickets to the park thanks to a good friend of mine. The problem? Neither of us have cars, but we don't want to not go. We both live in Nor Cal. Is there a way we could get to Disneyland from Sacramento w/o driving and is still somewhat cheap?

    Not sure of your age
    but if 25+
    you can rent a car.

Your next option is fly down, then take the shuttle.

Maybe someone else has a better plan.
Besides that, the cheapest way is to hitch hike and w/ the crazies out these days, it's not a suggested way to travel.

It sorta depends on what hotel you're staying at. If they have a shuttle from the airport, and a shuttle to DL, then you might be fine.

Super Shuttle will take you anywhere (from the local airports).

I don't think Super Shuttle would come all the way down from N. CA.
And if they did, you airline ticket would be much much cheaper.

I've never stayed at hotels in the Disney area that pick you up for the airport (SNA, LAX, ONT or Long Beach).

If you pick your weekends perfectly.
Southwest flies from San Fran to SNA (John Wayne) $49 each way.
Super Shuttle is about $10 per person (each way)

Don't know what it costs but maybe you could look into Amtrak or Greyhound.

Just drive, I think it would be the easiest

                There you go, Greyhound.
Might be a long long trip.
                But it might be cheaper.

                Edit: looked it up.
Greyhound is about $4 cheaper than Southwest (if you plan around holidays).
There is the $10 each way for super shuttle though.

Driving would be the best way.
We know they don't have a car
and we haven't found out if they are old enough to rent one.

Well I live in Nor Cal too, just a half hour from Sac.
Definitely the easiest way to get there is to drive, but if your out a car I'd say taking a plane and a shuttle to your hotel would be your next best issue. But if you could find a car, I'd say drive. Driving is always really fun if your with the right people =)

It's all about having a car in Sunny Southern California. Why? because there a lot of stuff to do here.

Unlike Walt's Disney world in Orlando, you can just take a bus and basically stay on Walt's Disney World property.
