    According to Disneyland website:

    • Luscious lasagna
    • Baked pastas
    • Grilled sandwiches and delicious soups
    • Indoor and outdoor patio seating with the ambience of a California winery.

    Cuisine: Vegetarian, Italian
    Service Type: Casual Dining
    Price Range: $$ ($10-$20 per person) *
    Meals Served: Lunch, Dinner
    Location: Golden State
    Additional Information

    • Reservations are recommended and can be made in person for this location on a limited basis. Reservations can also be arranged in advance by calling Disney Dining at (714) 781-DINE, or (714) 781-3463†.

So if you call the Dine line
they'll be able to tell you if it's open
    and what the hours are.

    * Please note that the dining price range is for reference purposes only and may not reflect actual prices of the dining location mentioned.

Yes I've eaten there and it's very good! I got some sort of big salad and my fiance got a burger or something (it was a couple years ago) but we were both very happy with our food and I'm looking forward to going back when it's re-opened!
Oh, and I love your quote from Vacation :-) My dad always said our family was the Griswalds. Haha!

The Trattoria is my favorite restaurant on property, the food has been consistently good every visit.

I don't recall them ever serving burgers there.

But I would reccommend skipping it. The food is mediocre. The lasagna was no better than the frozen lasagna you could buy in your grocery store. The wine gave me a headache.

It's probably better that it is closed when you go there.

                Re: Wine Country Trattoria?

I have always liked it. We end up eating there about once every other trip. I like the vegeterian lasagna and one of the salads (I can't rmember which).

I remember hearing that the entire menu is changing?

I did enjoy it in the past, though.

My hubby's favorite place to eat....great Chicken Sandwich with a side salad, made a perfect lunch at the Parks.

Yes, the restaurant is currently under rehab and the menu is being changed. I believe the one thing they said that was staying on the menu was the lasagna?

I've had some good meals there, one really bad one (got a panini and they said they couldn't toast it ... then it's NOT a panini).

Ate there on NYE and it was a very enjoyable meal. Looking forward to it coming back.

                        Re: Wine Country Trattoria?

I think they are adding in a lower-level counter service area as well - so there will be the regular table service dining room and a fast-food style counter. I guess for those World of Color and parade crowds...

The main restaurant is closed down right now for refurbishment. I think they're also preparing the upstairs, so they can open it up again as part of the Trattoria. It's a decent place to eat; good wine parings. Right now, I think there's a little snack bar/wine tasting area next to it that is open while the rest is being remodeled.

i don't think the menu isn't going to change too much, they still will hopefully have that yummy-chicken spinach alfredo lasanga and anybody who has eaten there knows what i am talking about(if u have eaten it).....

BUT in the lighter note--they are VERY good, i love food, i can't wait till the refurb is over!!!!! I am totaly have trattoria withdrawls...:bang:
