  • [Question] Mist effect on Splash Mountain

Has anyone noticed that at the part on SM where you plunge "underwater", that the mist effects are no longer working? It kinda rins the illusion of going underwater. Isn't it going through a refurbishment right now? Are they going to put that effect in there during the refurbishment? Will it ever be there again? I mean, it's not like it would take that long to get the mys machines up and running again...

I hadn't noticed this week as it's currently down for refurb... so maybe this will be fixed now.

Any word on when it will re-open? I have a friend visiting from out of town next week and we're going to Disneyland on the 2nd.

Sweet, it was hot as heck yesterday, and we were bummed it was closed. Luckily a rootbear float at the Golden Horseshoe helped.

Last week on the DLRR, as the train pulled into NOS station a conductor announced that it would be closed until the 28th, which agrees with the website.
