  • [Fun] New Addition to California Adventure

If you could add one new thing to California Adventure during this construction process, what would it be? It could be as simple as a restaurant or gift shop, to an entire new land!

For me, I would want to add the Grizzly Peak Rollercoaster that Hong Kong Disneyland is getting to Grizzly Peak. That or maybe a really nice resting area where Maliboomer currently is.

Hmm... I'd rather go and see the park after all the current expansion is done before I think about what else I'd like to see, I think. I can't think of much right now.

(I've never visited Disneyland Resort, Tokyo Disney Resort, Disneyland Resort Paris, nor Hong Kong Disneyland Resort, so don't be fooled when I pretend to know what I'm talking about. [But I'm pretty good with the information, if I do say so myself. And you can hit me all you want with Walt Disney World.])

I also think a coaster in Grizzly peak would be pretty awesome, and still keep the river run around it. Also... give Grizzly Peak a makeover and actually LOOK like a bear... from ever angle except for maybe the front, it looks like a wolf.

I would like to see something that goes with the Surf culture of the State ( seems theres more less california now though)
Unless im wrong..i see more of the major big Cities in the park.
but nothing about one of the biggest sports on the coasts

This would be one of my first choices:

          Followed closely by this:

The Mickey audience is not made up of people; it has no racial, national, political, religious or social differences or affiliations; the Mickey audience is made up of parts of people, of that deathless, precious, ageless, absolutely primitive remnant of something in every world-wracked human being which makes us play with children’s toys and laugh without self-consciousness at silly things, and sing in bathtubs, and dream and believe that our babies are uniquely beautiful. You know…the Mickey in us.

Actually, if rumors are true, we are already getting this sometime this year or next.

Oh I thought they were just tearing it down and leaving it open for "future development"

Yes, but supposedly they are going to put in trees and benches to make a seating area until then.

No concept art or any of that good stuff, but replace Redwood Creek Challenge Trail with Country Bear Jamboree and Journey into Nature's Wonderland + A new version of rainbow ridge caverns.

Redo the building of Screamin and the shop to match with the Victorian designs.
I heard the Maliboomer might be a meet and greet for characters.

I like the idea of Country Bear Jamboree and Journey into Nature's Wonderland.

I have some similar ideas for this area as well that I've worked on a little. I want to put more time into it, but I've been busy.

A transportation system that serves the same purpose as the DLRR does at DL, allowing you to sit and ride to get from one end of the park to the other without having to walk a long, winding path dodging parades.
                          .

How about that Grizzly Peak mine ride that could fit in where the Challenge Trail is.

EDIT: Just looked on Google maps and I don't think there's enough room for it so nevermind.

I think that area is tight for a coaster and it's right next to the hotel and that part of the park really needs something with no height limit. I think a slow train would be a better option and give a chance to feature some Califonia history and nice scenery, which DCA could use. I also think that they could incorporate a smaller version of the challenge trail in the area so that they could reuse much of the props and stuff.
