  • [Question] What does Paul Pressler think of DCA now?

With all the money going in to fix Paul Pressler's DCA, what do you think is going on in his head right now? Do you think he realizes that he screwed up big time? We'll probably never know the answer, but I thought it'd be interesting to see what everyone thinks.

He's probably thinking "Geez, if they had allocated that extra billion up front, I could have added more plush stores!"

Paul was a nice guy. Great handshake. Bit of a goofy laugh though.

Keep an eye out during reruns of the Bob Saget years on AFV. They were pretty good friends at one point and Paul was in the audience with his kids on a regular basis.

That's not all that was goofy about Paul... and the CEO who empowered him.

Disney may have finally found the grail. You don't need
imagination or art. All you need is a brand."

He is fortunate that he could actually afford a day ticket to DCA and not to put a krimp into the budget. He probably forgot which exit to use.
I am old. But still love Disneyland.

Exactly. Pressler knew what he was doing. Yeah DCA was a lame park at first, but believe me Paul Pressler, Cynthia Harris, and Mike Eisner all knew it was going to be a lame park. Where they failed was in making a lame park profitable.
In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.

What stores that opened with Disney California Adventure in 2001 no longer exist today?
