Re: What was your favorite show?

One of the most under-rated of all shows at Disneyland is Billy Hill and the Hillbillies. I know that it is corny humor, but this show is really a jewel in the crown of Disneyland. If you ever have been to WDW you will know what I mean. I have seen the Hoop Dee Do show. It is nice. People fall over themselves to pay the over $50 price tag for this dinner show. It is longer than the Billy Hill show. HDD, however, does not get the audience roaring in laughter as the DL show. Bill Hill does in fifteen minutes what the HHD show takes an hour.

The Golden Horseshoe at WDW had that Goofy dance thing going on the last time I was at WDW. What a disappointment. The kids and adults really did not know how to follow the steps. It was just confusing. We just mostly watched the kiddies try to dance on the floor. Now that is nice at home, but not for the WDW price of admission. It has now changed, but
I have not heard that it is better now that it is just a meet-and-greet.

Billy Hill is funny because these performers try hard to mix up the show with new skits. Sometimes you don't know the treasure you have until you lose it. Believe me, we are very blessed to have the Billy Hill show at DL.

                          Fantasmic...hands down

Perhaps if I was able to see Remember in person, that would change, but maybe not even then. Nothing can beat the atmosphere of Disneyland's Fantasmic in my opinion.

I hope Walt Disney World's isn't too bad in comparison. I'm still not sure how I managed to miss it every time I've been to Disney World (2000,2002,2004).

Billy Hill always brings a smile to my face.
