  • [Question] Disneyana Museum

I've occasionally heard of a Disneyana Museum in backstage Disneyland open only to CMs. I've been curious of some of the items supposedly in there (such as an Atommobile), and am wondering if anyone has any information or pictures from this museum? I've been browsing Google trying to find something, but there is virtually nothing. Does this museum really exist? If so, is it that top secret?

    Thanks!

    Re: Disneyana Museum

I doubt it exists, but wish it did! I always wondered if there wasn't a whole smattering of old atommobiles, teacups and such littered across backstage. But, I suspect there just isn't space to store things like that. Although, isn't an old Peoplemover car used as "patio seating" back by the TDA building?

I think the OP might be combining the Walt Disney Family Museum *Where I believe there is an atommobile* and the Walt Disney Archives *Which is open only to staff*

Apparently Iger's thinking of putting a museum in Glendale to publicly display stuff from the Archives.

Nothing like that exists in Disneyland. Disney Family Museum and the studios? Yeah, there is stuff there.

This reminds me of the time that I was having a cig over by BTTM and I overheard this lady talking about the "underground city" underneath Disneyland and how there is like a bank and a Starbucks down there. I told her differently, but she did not believe me.

I should lend the Company my collection to build something like this. With the 500+ items that I have, going back over 50 years, it would be quite a sight to behold.
