  • [Pictures] Trekkie Dad's DL Pictures from Oct 2-4 (Gay Days)

Not going to be a lot of commentary here, just pictures from our recent trip to DL. One of our primary goals was to meet up with some MiceChat friends, and Gay Days is one of the best times to do so.

Jimmie and I arrived Saturday afternoon, but not in time for the noon meet. We met up with a few for the Pirates ride at three, though, but the group broke up shortly after. So my first real chance to take pictures came with the Sunday noon meet:

Have bicycle, will ride. Finished 2012 with 10,089 miles, 683 hours, and 482,000 feet of elevation gain.
    2013: 201 rides, 8171 miles, 544 hours, 480K feet.
    2014 so far: 7846 miles, 451,000 feet

It took a while to herd everyone over to the wharf at DCA for lunch, but we managed to get some tables together:

While we didn't participate in the afternoon's Eye Spy in DCA, I did take some pictures of the activity as it unfolded:

And here's the winning team putting the final touches on their entry:

That ends the Gay Days portion of our trip. What follows are pictures from the same weekend.

Here's a few shots from "it's a small world" that I took on Saturday not long after we arrived:

I'm sorry we missed the meet. We were invited to Club 33, so had to skip the Micechat events
