I'm going to Disneyland for my honeymoon and was wondering if there is anything special we can do?

My wife and I visited DL as apart of our honeymoon and my biggest advise is whenever you're making reservations at hotels, meals etc always mention that it's your honeymoon. People tend to give a little special treatment when they know it's your honeymoon. We stayed at the GCH and I mentioned this and when we arrived we got a signed picture by mickey and minnie, a baloon and some other things that i can't remember.Originally posted by DirtonComment

Look into desert on the terrace where the Disney gallery is. Its a lil pricy, but wonderful seats for Fantasmic and the deserts are fantastic.
I also suggest the Katel's restraunt in Downtown Disney, far and away one of the best restraunts on the resort with a wonderful wine list. Also check out the Napa Rose in the Grand California and the Story Teller Breakfast is fun, but less romantic.

If you're planning on staying on property, I would recommend going with the "concierge" level rooms at DLH or DGCH. You get a the best room locations, larger rooms, and (best of all) access to the concierge lounge and concierge service. The lounge is not only a place where you can go to grab a hot snack or glass of wine and enjoy a complimentary copy of the New York times, but it's also a great place to enjoy the fireworks at night, as they pipe in the fireworks music. The customizable service helps you make dining reservations, or plan day experiences, all from the comfort of your concierge-level service desk. It's definitely something to check into and usually costs about an extra $50-$75 per night. Here are some suggestions-- take a lot of pictures and video! If you decide to get the hats mentioned earlier take a lot with and without them (especially if you can get Mickey and Minnie)! Be sure to stop in at City Hall and see if they can do anything. I'm not quite sure, but they do things for birthdays so it couldn't hurt. Also, make sure you mention it when you make your reservation for anything. They might try to give you at better table at the Blue Bayou or something nice likle that. It doesn't hurt to try. Have fun and be sure to show us your pictures!

Funny story we actually got engaged in DL too and then went to dinner At BB and we got a table right on the water. It was so romantic. I think she just liked Disneyland up to that point but after that night she not only fell in love with me but also truly fell in love with Disneyland.Comment

We also had our honeymoon at DL. The best thing we ever did was splurge and stay at the GCH. If you can afford it, stay there. We got a DCA view room and ordered an early room service breakfast and watched the sunrise over DCA. It was amazing and one of our favorite memories. Also, take time to slow down and really enjoy your honeymoon... don't rush around the park. Allow time to let it all sink in.
I highly recommend going to the Napa Rose... we had an absolutely amazing dinner there. We will be going back.
