  • Trip Report Special Treatment at Disneyland Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage

Okay hello micechat this is my first time ever posting here and i would like to talk about a special thing that happened to us on finding nemo.

This happened this may at disneyland me and my family were just about to go into the standby line that had a 50 min wait but then a cm stopped us and asked us if we have ever gone on this ride and we replyed no. So he told us to follow him and he took us to the front of the line. Has this ever happened to any of you before on any ride?

That is awesome!! I love when things like that Happen!! In December 2007, we were entering a ferocious long line for the Pirates of the Caribbean when a cast member approached us and asked how many were in our party. I told him 4 and he said follow me. He had a large Pirate flag and asked my son for his name. He then took us through New Orleans square waving the flag and saying "Make way for Captain Andre (my son's name)". We we escorted through the exit and when our boat arrived the cast member announced to our boat that this was "Captain Andre's" ship and he would be guiding our way through the Caribbean. My son was so excited. I think it might have been promoting the Year of A Million Dreams which started in 2008, but what ever the reason, it was very exciting!! An added bonus to skipping the massive line!!

Sounds like a magical moment and A CM did the same thing to our family at Splash Mountain one steamy August afternoon last year.

well. once i was went to the rainforest cafe then rush hour 3 then go home. but we were about to leave some random guy gave me free tickets to DL. I ended up going on matterhorn, space mountain, then nemo(newly opened) for free instead of going home.

Actually, this exact same thing happened to me.

On my first trip to Disney after the subs re-opened, we were approaching the queue for the subs just before the park closed, on the last night of our trip. I was very visibly excited (as an 18-year-old guy :unsure to be riding one of the subs again after only vaguely remembering them from my childhood. Sure enough, as we were about to get in line, the CM closed the queue for the night. I was a bit upset (in a disappointed sort of way, not a diva sort of way), and so another CM approached us and asked if we wanted to ride. I said yes, of course, so he took us to the front of the line and gave me a "Citizen of Disneyland" badge, which I treasure to this day.

Had this happen to me and my girlfriend on Pinocchio a while back, a CM stopped us near the Carousel and asked if we wanted to ride it.

It's the little things like that, that make trips to the Resort so much more special.
