  • [Question] How can FW/WoC start when they close the parks?

On December 13th and 14th, it shows the parks closing at 6 and 9 but they also list FW starting at 6 and WoC begining at 9. Is this a simple mistake or do they close everything down, start the shows, then everone must leave? (I'm assuming the latter)

The latter. It's what's known as a "soft close." You can't get in line for an attraction after park closing time, but you can stay and watch fireworks and shop on Main Street for another hour. Same for DCA/WOC. On nights when the schedule is like the one you mentioned, we (CMs) refer to the pyro/WOC as a "goodnight kiss."

This is pretty much what happens at WDW for its Fantasmic! at Studios and Illuminations at EPCOT.
