  • [Question] When was the First Parade

    and what was it like?

Did it have floats or was it just walking?

Are there any photos of it?

Re: When was the First Parade

The first parade at Disneyland was on the day of its Opening Ceremony TV broadcast, July 17, 1955. Google "Disneyland parades history" and "Disneyland opening day" for more information and photos.
"With the acquisition of Marvel and now of Lucasfilm,
Disney may have finally found the grail. You don't need
imagination or art. All you need is a brand."

Of course, that parade only ran once. I'm not sure when the first regularly-performing parade started. Definitely by the Tencennial.
